Stewart is excited to announce that Jamey Gray has joined the firm as Geomatics Senior Project Manager.
As a member of Stewart’s Geomatics practice, Gray’s primary responsibilities include project management, from project planning and scoping to budgeting, scheduling and completion, as well as business development. Gray will also supervise Stewart staff and subcontractors, and manage quality assurance.
“Jamey’s depth of expertise and skill set is an asset to the Stewart team, bringing diverse experiences and a varied client-base to Stewart,” said Frank Mundy, vice president and practice leader of Geomatics at Stewart. “The addition of Jamey to our team provides a unique opportunity to expand our services beyond the region, while still maintaining a steadfast focus on our North Carolina clients. I look forward to the great success he will bring to our organization.”
Gray has over 14 years of progressive survey experience and is currently licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee and a Remote Pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He specializes in survey applications to support water resources, large-scale geodetic surveys, geospatial analysis and geographic information systems (GIS).
Over the last decade, Gray’s experience and expertise has focused on qualifications-based selection contracts for federal, state and local government clients. His experience also includes projects for private land development, commercial real estate and the energy sector.
Gray holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in surveying technology/surveying from Central Piedmont Community College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from Pratt Institute. He is also an active member of North Carolina Association of Floodplain Managers, Association of State Floodplain Managers, National Society of Professional Surveyors and the North Carolina Society of Surveyors.
