Stewart’s Landscape Architecture team, along with, Leaf & Limb, Landis, and HarrisCost, received the Merit Award in the category of Research from the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Way to go, team!!
The purpose of the Wilmington Tree Root and Sidewalk Study was to analyze and evaluate conditions in specified areas associated with displaced sidewalks caused by roots from adjacent trees and to develop a menu of recommended remedies to repair displaced sidewalks and a set of standards for future streetscape projects.
Improving communities is what we do and we are very happy to have played a part in developing a Tree Root and Sidewalk Study for the City of Wilmington.
