Stewart is helping to drive advancements in landscape architecture and sustainable design with its presence at the ASLA Conference and Expo. Held Oct. 19 – 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, this annual conference is hosted by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and is the largest gathering of landscape architecture professionals and students in the world.
Seven of Stewart’s landscape architects are attending and participating in sessions throughout the conference, including:

With a staff that includes 65 landscape architects and civil engineers, Stewart has been actively involved in the ASLA and a number of employees have held executive committee positions within local chapters. Blackwell is currently the president of the North Carolina ASLA chapter, and is on the Government Affairs Advisory Committee and Leadership Development Committee. Landoll is the former president of the Washington ASLA chapter and has served as Chair of the Council of Chapter President. Terence Welles, landscape designer at Stewart, is currently the secretary of the North Carolina ASLA chapter.
