The Sports & Events practice is composed of three primary services: Overlay Infrastructure, Event Operations, and Master Planning and Design.

Overlay Infrastructure

Overlay planning and design is the process of integrating temporary infrastructure and legacy facilities into a seamless event experience. Our team of designers focuses on client objectives, operational readiness, and experiential opportunities. Teams produce the event action plan through detailed documentation that explains construction, directs the schedule and budget, and informs operations.

    From the development of venue operations plans to the implementation of game day event operating procedures, the Sports & Event team has been a part of every aspect of event planning for some of the most complex sporting events in the world. Our capabilities include directing the development and management of event operations teams, establishing planning and event day timelines, coordinating and conducting daily operations and event construction meetings, developing emergency action and evacuation plans, and maintaining seamless event day venue communications. Combining our experience with thoughtful leadership, detailed organization, and planning integration, our team is fully equipped to deliver a professional event operations strategy.

    Master Planning and Design

    The combination of talent and experience within the Sports & Events team provides a unique, comprehensive approach to master planning and design of sports facilities for professional sports leagues and teams, colleges and universities, public and private schools, and governments. Our expertise includes the design and development of individual sports venues to mega sports parks including: arenas, gymnasiums, stadiums, sports halls, fields (rugby, cricket, soccer, football, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball/softball), tracks, golf/tennis/equestrian facilities, water/skate/action sports parks, aquatic/recreational/fitness centers, and other complementary support structures.
