WakeMed Soccer Park is a major soccer complex located in Cary, NC. The 150-acre multi-use complex hosts professional matches, college and high school tournaments, as well as other events. The fields are also available for low impact field sports such as youth football, lacrosse and ultimate frisbee. The park also inlcudes a world-class cross country course that encircles the park.
The park features permanent seating for 7,000 with expansion capability, a lighted stadium field, two lighted practive fields, five non-lighted fields, as well as concessions, lockerooms, restrooms and meeting space.
Stewart was responsible for the structural engineering design for Buildings A, B, C and D, permanent grandstands, foundation design for temporary grandstand and design of concrete retaining walls throughout the site.
