Stewart provided geotechnical engineering services for the Concord Fire Station #12. The project involves a one-story, 20,000-square-foot fire station with a central high-roof apparatus bay. The structure has a rigid (concrete) pavement in the apparatus bay and a conventional concrete slab-on-grade floor in the remainder of the building.
Site improvements include asphalt-paved parking lots as well as concrete-paved driveways and aprons for fire truck traffic.
