Stewart is providing landscape architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, and geotechnical engineering design services, as well as construction materials testing and special inspections for the Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church HEARTH Addition. Renovations include a modified parking area, outdoor gathering spaces, and connecting paths associated with designing a new 7,000-square-foot community hall and repurposing the existing education building for affordable housing. The new community hall structure will be steel-framed with concrete slabs-on-metal decking, and supported by shallow foundations. Special attention is focused on preserving a large canopy of trees along Park Drive and a single specimen located east of the parking lot.
