In the spring of 2017, Canada, Mexico and the United States joined together to bring the biggest, most ambitious FIFA World Cup™ in history to North America in 2026. On June 13, 2018 the United Bid Committee of Canada, Mexico and the United States were awarded the right to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.
Stewart personnel evaluated candidate host stadiums for requisite facilities and operational readiness as part of assessing each stadium’s capability in meeting FIFA World Cup space and hosting requirements. Stewart also managed the development of conceptual stadium overlay diagrams and the delivery of the Stadium and Team Facilities section of the official 2026 FIFA World Cup Bid submission.
