Stewart’s Chief Operations Officer Lee Anne Nance will discuss her journey to unconventional roles at the 4th annual Take No Bull Women’s Conference in Durham, NC on Friday, March 6. She will be joined by Nicole Thompson, Shelley McPhatter, and Leslie O’Connor on the “Crushing Female Stereotypes” panel, moderated by Najuana White.
Lee Anne held a variety of roles in her career leading up to her time at Stewart. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Lee Anne served as principal of Britt Nance Collaborative, LLC, an economic development and marketing consulting practice. Prior to starting her own business, she served as Chief Operating Officer at the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, where she managed implementation of the region’s strategic growth plan and regional marketing and branding activities. In her roles as Marketing Director and Economic Development Director for the Harnett County Economic Development Commission, she led the County in acquiring and developing three certified industrial parks, two industrial facilities, a science and technology campus, a river park, and a 1040-acre land trust.
“I am very excited to speak at the Take No Bull Women’s Conference for the first time. As a lead into International Women’s Day, this conference is a place of inspiration where women can take action in every area of their lives,” said Nance.
The Take No Bull Women’s Conference is a one-day event designed to honor and empower women and those who advocate for them. The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce estimates over 300 women will convene around International Women’s Day to celebrate the contributions of women in and around our community.
