Stewart LA Shares Experience with Students in NCSU College of Design

Stephen Faber, PLA, ASLA, is a Senior Project Manager with Stewart’s Landscape Architecture practice and a lecturer with the NC State University’s College of Design. He teaches the Landscape Architecture Design Development & Construction Documentation Studio where students learn about site planning design refinement from conceptual schematic design through to the preparation of technical landscape architectural construction plans and details.

Stephen’s background is multidisciplinary with experience working on projects of varying scales from small commercial and residential properties to large master-planned communities.

I have a passion for design and development in which I look to create a visionary path and utilize resources to execute a process-driven plan. Within work and practice, I value building consensus and teamwork to achieve goals more quickly and effectively. – Stephen Faber

When he’s not lecturing at NC State, you can find Stephen designing spaces within the public realm, collaborating with technical staff in our Civil Engineering or Community Planning practices, or interacting with communities across North Carolina at a public engagement event.
