The Details

Sycamore Green was a joint venture between Bank of America and the Committee to Protect and Preserve Third Ward, a diverse and historic neighborhood that succumbed to urban blight in the 1970s. This residential development now features one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes with an outdoor play area. It was designed to integrate low-income residents into a market-rate apartment complex.

Stewart provided comprehensive surveying services for an existing conditions / as built survey for this 5.18 acre site. Stewart also developed an overall residential master plan for 190 apartment units in a four-story mid-rise, as well as a 150-car parking deck and 22 town homes.

In addition, Stewart handled the conditional rezoning through the City of Charlotte and subsequently prepared civil engineering and landscape architectural construction documents for the new development.
