I am an endurance runner. I have run 30 marathons, a 50-miler, and a 100-miler – I am slow and steady. I have recently joined the Camp Gladiator Fitness craze. If I won the lottery, and I did not need to work, I would train to be an American Ninja Warrior!Who is your role model and why?
My grandmother, Mary Louise Clark. She was unstoppable. When my grandfather died during his bid for his reelection to the Iowa House of Representatives in the early 70’s, she ran in his place. Afterwards, she moved to Florida and made a living as an ARTIST. I strive to be as strong and brave as her. What is your favorite quote?
“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh
